Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born August 19, 1965 is an American actor. Her most well-known character is that of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick earned the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated to the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995).
