Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the youngest of three children, was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8] and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, an experienced real estate developer who retired was the father of Eileen, who had emigrated from Greece in 1904. His mother was of Irish descent. Her parents got married in the year 1976. Psaki is also of Polish descent. She attended Greenwich High School 1996. In 2000, she graduated from the College of William & Mary with the degree of English and sociology. She is an active member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki participated in backstroke swimming for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 by working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki also served as communications director for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until 2006. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will be an analyst in the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a show on MSNBC’s Peacock streaming site.
